The Experience

The Body Journey Experience includes more than just touch. My table is covered with a luxurious heated memory foam pad. I blend essential oils with BioTone’s Dual Purpose Massage Cream. My selection of relaxing music transforms the space into a healing soundscape. The Intention is to engage all your senses, moving you into a blissful state where healing can occur at the deepest levels of your Being.

Somatic Insight

Massage offers a gateway to explore your inner experience. It combines my lifelong interest in healing, meditation, and non-ordinary consciousness. Somatic bodywork can provide insight into subtler aspects of ourselves. Bodywork does more than ease pain and stress. It facilitates self-awareness, emotional balance, and clearer thinking.

Modalities

After practicing for nearly 20 years, I have developed a unique, finely tuned massage style that incorporates long strokes, focused pressure, and active stretching. Here are some of the styles I blend:

  • Swedish
  • Shiatsu
  • Orthobionomy
  • Acupressure
  • Active Release Technique
  • Deep Tissue
  • Pre-natal

LGBTQ Inclusive

Everyone deserves to feel loved and nurtured, and to receive massage without judgment. That is why we celebrate diversity here in San Francisco. Whether you're gay, straight, bisexual, or transgender... whatever your age, body type, identity, or physical able-ness, you are welcome here and will always be met with dignity and respect.

About your Bodyworker

Boston Blake has been offering professional healing massage in San Francisco since 2002. During that time, he has worked with a wide range of clients, including professional dancers, actors, athletes, entrepreneurs, and c-level executives.

By combining touch, scent, sound, and uncanny sensitivity, he helps his clients cultivate a healthy and empowered relationship among body, mind, and spirit.

Located in Downtown San Francisco's historic Flood Building, Boston offers a bodywork experience like no other.

As a child, I suffered from frequent debilitating migraines, as did several members of my family. To relieve the pain, we massaged one another’s shoulders, necks, and backs. Relief provided clear feedback about effective technique and pressure, and years of practice gave me an unusually keen ability to quickly identify specific tension points. My migraines subsided at age 19 when I removed gluten from my diet. By the time, massage had become an integral part of my life. To further develop my skills, I received my first certification in 2002 and began practicing professionally in San Francisco.
